48 Things About Me

I know some of my readers are family and friends, but a huge majority of you have never met me.  I found this great "48 Things About Me" list over at Mommy Monologues (and she borrowed it from Theta Mom).  Then I got to learn about my blog/twitter friend Adrienne when she did hers and I loved it.  I thought it looked fun for a Friday post.  So here goes!

Were you named after anyone?
Not sure.  For some reason I'm thinking maybe a television character but I may be wrong.

When was the last time you cried?
Thursday. I'm a mom and a wife!

Do you like your handwriting?
No! My cursive is horrible and my print isn't much better.

What is your favorite lunch meat?

Do you have kids?
Yes, Ting and Bug.  Those are their nicknames. They have really cool real names, but only people that know me in real life get to know them :)  I also have two furbabies: Bella the Black Lab and Reggie the Rottweiler

If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
I would hope so

Do you use sarcasm a lot?
I think "a lot" is probably an understatement

Do you still have your tonsils?

Would you bungee jump?
Before I got married and had kids, absolutely.  Now that I'm older and responsible for little lives, heck no!

What is your favorite cereal?
Life Cereal

Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?

Do you think you are strong?
Physically, not at all.  Mentally I think I am very strong.

What is your favorite ice cream?
Vanilla - it's the only flavor I will eat

What is the first thing you notice about people?
Their hair.  I like people with healthy looking hair.

Red or Pink?
Pink. It's not my favorite color, but I'm definitely not a fan of Red

What is the least favorite thing about yourself?
I'm not a very patient person. Being a mom requires a lot of patience and that is an area I definitely fall short at.

Who do you miss the most?
My brother. Michael and I grew up very close.  He would have been an amazing uncle to my kids and I know they would have loved him to pieces.

What is the technique that you need to work on the most?
Fixing my daughter's hair.  I'm not creative and I have no idea what to do with little girl hair.

What color shoes are you wearing?
I'm not wearing shoes, but my socks are white

What was the last thing you ate?

What are you listening to right now?
The TV is on, but I'm not paying attention

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Bright purple

Favorite smells?
Buttercream, fresh cut grass, and Sharpies (yes the markers)

How important are your political views to you?
Political - not at all.  Religions - very important

Favorite food?

Scary movies or happy endings?
I can't watch scary movies.  I have nightmares for months every time I watch one.

Last movie you watched?
Where the Red Fern Grows.  Hubby thought Ting needed to see it.  She and I both cried our eyes out.

Cake balls
