Each morning after I head off to work, Hubby and the kids embark on their own routines around the house. To be honest, I really have no idea what that routine is. I do know that they do school work for a couple of hours because when I come home Ting likes to show me what she worked on each day.
She brings me preschool paces full of letters, numbers, shapes, and simple lessons. I know that she is learning, but I really don't pay much attention to what exactly she is learning. Call me a bad mom, but I know Hubby has it under control so I just don't worry much about it.
This morning I cleaned Ting's room and found the chalk that goes to her toybox. I've had it put up so long that she didn't even remember that her toybox had a chalkboard for a lid. Hubby started telling her the letters to write and she would write them. She spelled out each of our names with him telling her the letters.
I was completely impressed at what all she knew. Her real name has nine letters in it, plus she was able to write out mine and Hubby's names as well. We also taught her to spell Ting.
