Today I'm teaming up with my friends at Healthy Families to bring you an awesome giveaway - an infant car seat!
If you've spent any time on my blog, you know I love Healthy Families. I told you about them back in July when they awarded me a full scholarship to attend the Arkansas Women Bloggers Unplugged Conference. That was a weekend that changed my perspective as a blogger and I will always be grateful to Healthy Families for giving me the opportunity.
Another thing you have probably figured out about me is that I am passionate about car seat safety. Any time I get the opportunity to talk to you about car seat safety I will.
I believe as parents, one of the most dangerous things we do with our children each day is put them into a vehicle. But thankfully there are companies and programs out there that are constantly researching and developing child passenger safety seats so that each trip in a vehicle can be a little safer for our precious cargo.
But just having the proper safety seats available to us is not enough. Education about the proper seat and the proper use of each seat is just as important. That's why I am so grateful for organizations such as Healthy Families that are out there providing education and resources to parents and caregivers.
One of the ways Healthy Families is getting the word out is through the Happy Birthday, Baby book series. There are two books in this series. The first is for pregnancy through age one and has some wonderful information and resources for parents. You can request a free copy of the book right here.
So, I mentioned a car seat giveaway? That's right. My friends at Healthy Families are giving one of my readers this car seat. This is a rear-facing carrier type seat. All you have to do is fill out the Rafflecopter form below. The giveaway closes at midnight on Nov 23. A winner will be announced on Nov 24.
Disclaimer: Healthy Families is giving one winner an infant car seat. I received no compensation for this post and all opinions are my own. If you don't believe me, let me catch you with your kid in the wrong car seat ;)
